- Stainless Steel Equipment: 3-year parts and labor warranty, with an additional 2-year warranty for the compressor .
- Glass Door Merchandiser: 2-year parts and labor warranty, with an additional 3-year warranty for the compressor .
- Gas Equipment: 12-month warranty.
- Applicable to: Limited to the original purchaser, owner, or lessee only.
- Installation and Maintenance: Proper installation and startup, as well as normal and appropriate use and maintenance services, must be conducted according to the instruction manual provided by Chefkit.
- Warranty Transfer: The warranty is non-transferable and does not transfer with changes in ownership or lease.
- Parts and Labor: During the warranty period, Chefkit is responsible for repairing or replacing defective parts or components. Labor costs include standard straight-time labor charges and reasonable travel time.
- Compressor: An additional 2-3 year warranty for sealed compressors, depending on the type of equipment.
- Normal Wear and Tear Parts: Such as light bulbs, gaskets, casters, shelves and shelf clips, pans, bin and pan dividers, and air flow guards, etc.
- Residential Applications: Does not include parts or labor coverage for residential or other non-commercial applications.
- Improper Use: Does not cover component failures or other damages resulting from improper use or installation, failure to clean the condenser coil, or not maintaining the product as set forth in the warranty packet.
- Electrical Connection Issues: Does not cover component damage resulting from incorrect supply voltage, use of extension cords, low voltage, or unstable supply voltage.
- Claim Process: All claims must be made directly to Chefkit through an authorized Chefkit service provider. Claims should include the equipment model, cabinet serial number, proof of purchase, installation date, and all relevant information supporting the alleged defect.
- Compressor Claims**: During the warranty period, the compressor must be returned to Chefkit, along with the information mentioned above. Any action or breach of warranty terms must be initiated within 2 months after the occurrence of the action.
